A week based on São Miguel. On land, exploring fumaroles, the botanical gardens of Terra Nostra, cliffs and beaches, volcanic crater lakes, waterfalls, and a tea plantation. Out of the water, 4 boat trips in search of cetaceans, and finding short-beaked common dolphins, bottlenose dolphins, striped dolphins and sperm whales.
